Lunar Phase Calendar

The Lunar Phase Calendar calculates the phases of the moon over any month from 1900AD to 2100AD. In an instant you can tune into the natural rhythms of our world.

The Lunar Calendar also calculates the time of the full and new moons (time in 24 hour format, e.g., 19:07 is 7:07 PM). To see this hover your cursor over the full or new moon images. Eclipses are denoted by *T for a total eclipse or *P for a partial eclipse.

The calculations are done in JavaScript and follow the methods given by Bradley Schaefer . His article appeared in Sky & Telescope for April 1994, page 86.

All times are in EDT (GMT -5H). Code modified and developed by WebPaws.com.
