Burning Candles Safely

• Pay attention to burning candles at all times.
• Always snuff out candles before leaving the room or going to bed.
• Make sure to keep candles in a safe location, away from children, pets or flammable materials.
• Remember, before you light the candle, trim the wick of the candle to ¼ inch high.
• Keep all burning candles away from drafts, breezes and busy areas.
• Do not extinguish candles with water as it may cause hot wax to spatter and break the candle's container.
• Burn candles on protected, heat-resistant surfaces specifically designed for their use.
• Limit burning time, candles should not burn for more then four hours at a time.
